After two very busy Bank Holiday weekends it was hardly surprising that very few would attend the meet. But we are pleased to say 14 units attended, of those some were staying with us while attending the NFOL Meeting at Broadwell. Friday evening everyone settled in and caught up with their friends with a drink and get together.
Saturday took the majority off site, several to the NFOL meeting and most to CDA's 56th AGM in Stockton Village Hall. Although there were several heavy showers it didn't stop everyone joining together for a BBQ, drink and get together on the field.
It rained most of the night but thankfully stopped and allowed us all to have our Coffee Morning where clotted cream scones and biscuits were served.
The weather held out long enough for a stroll along the canal which runs alongside the site.
It was a smashing weekend and Phil Henson, Regional Council's, Vice Chairman complimented the CDA on our wonderful hospitality, and promised to join us at another meet in the future.
A huge thank you to the Chinn family for Stewarding the meet and welcoming everyone so warmly, and Jackie Bennett for organising the Coffee Morning.
