There were 22 units attended this fantastic meet. Yet again the entertainment, Bonfire and Fireworks were superb, and the weather behaved yet again!! I have given you the link below for Hollowell Steam so that you can take a look at some of the wonderful work Allen Eaton does for Charity. Over the last 25 years a whopping 1 Million Pounds has been raised and this year alone £78,000.00 was given to various Charities.
On that note we must "Congratulate"Allen on receiving an MBE for his outstanding achievements and if you take a look at the web pages, you will see the tremendous impact the work he instigated has had on the community.
Although Allen lives in Northamptonshire he opted to become a CDA member many years ago and has supported the DA on numerous occasions, not least by enabling us to hold a meet at his Steam Rally and the Bonfire Meet.
