Christmas Party 2011

 

Over 60 people attended our Christmas Party
at Binley Woods Village Hall.

Everyone settled in and caught up with their friends while trying to answer the questions
on the Christmas Quiz.

 

Entertaining us were the Duo "Lighting the Fuse".
Who sang and played a variety of songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's along with
Christmas Carols with a twist.

 

 

 

At 8.30pm we were invited to help ourselves to food, and were met with the choice of
Lasagne, Jacket Potatoes, Grated Cheese, Mixed Salad  and Crusty Bread
or Chicken Curry, Pilau Rice and Naan Bread.
With seconds for those who could manage it!
Pudding followed with a choice of
Mince Tart and Cream, Mixed Fruit Pavlova, Strawberry Cheesecake or Roulade, and
again seconds for those who could manage it.

During the evening there were raffle tickets on sale and an array of prizes were on display for those lucky enough to win them.

 

 

 

Then while we were all settled and satisifed
with our lovely meal a special visitor,
"Father Christmas" arrived.
After a walk around the room he took pride of place in his Grotto asssited by his faithful helper to see all the children and
those who wanted to make a wish!
