Bretford Village Hall 2011

Bretford Village Hall
14th - 16th October 2011

Although only 6 units arrived for the weekend it was
a really enjoyable and successful meet.

Friday evening everyone settled in after
catching up and having a chat.

Saturday evening brought a "Get Together" for
an American Supper in the hall on site.
Several other members arrived for the evening and
the wonderful array of food was set up ready for all to enjoy.
There was a really HOT curry and rice, a selection of sandwiches, dips, pate, crusty bread and lots more. Followed by homemade cup cakes, ginger cake and a variety of other sweets to finish off.

 

Lots of chatter, jokes and banter before
we tucked into the lovely spread.

Everyone helped themselves, and went back
for refills during the evening.

 

 As you can see a provisional Fixture List was passed around and many offers to Steward Meets were made.

In between courses we were entertained by Dave with a quiz, this was really good fun with lots of heckling and jokes from Mick. The winners were Edith and Peter Bennett with an impressive 22/25. 

Dean Bennett thanked everyone for their attendance and
re-capped the overall attendances for 2010 - 11. 

With great pleasure 
Sue, Gary, Lucy and Jessica
were presented with a plant and a luxury tin of biscuits
for being the highest attenders of meets.  
"14 in total".



It was a very enjoyable evening.
